Our Story

The Sorted Brick was founded by Jen and Lisa—two LEGO® lovers who believe that bricks are better when they’re shared.

After years of building, sorting, collecting, and dreaming, they opened The Sorted Brick in October 2021. What started as a love for building (and sorting… lots of sorting) grew into a space where creativity, nostalgia, and community come together.

Jen brings the big-picture vision and an eye for turning ideas into experiences, while Lisa is the minifig wizard—organizing, curating, and making sure every fig has a chance at a second life. Together, they balance imagination and order in the most satisfying way possible.

At The Sorted Brick, our goal is simple: create a welcoming place where kids, adults, builders, collectors, and the LEGO-curious can feel inspired. Whether you’re digging through bulk bins, hunting for that one perfect piece, building with friends, or celebrating a birthday, Jen and Lisa want you to feel like you belong here.

They believe LEGO® isn’t just a toy—it’s a tool for creativity, connection, problem-solving, and joy at every age. And they’re pretty sure the world could use a little more of all of that.
